The word is out! That is ANet have prepared more space for the upcoming BWE #2. Well it is a good news since they gave out so many keys for BWE. However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any lag at all. It is true that they double the server but there are more people who recently bought the game. Hopefully, it is not going to be as bad as the first beta. Who knows, doubled up space may not be enough, they may need to triple it by the time the game release.

Let me start off with the fact that anyone can reserve his or her Guild Wars 1 character’s names by simply log into the game before the release of Guild Wars 2. For those who didn’t know, so go ahead and log in today and reserve your names.Today I had a couple hours of spare time and well I took the chance to log into Guild Wars 1 and reserve my names. The first impression I got today is, “dang, where all the people go?” I was in Jaded Quarry and wow the most active district had only about 20 people. That is so not “active.” Like I’ve mentioned in my earlier post today about bots, let just face it, they are everywhere. No, its not a big deal, but to many people.. “that sht blows.”

I played Guild War since release, however, when the crucial time of high school where colleges and gpa matters, I stoop away. Then when the news of Guild Wars 2 got to me that was when GWAMM came with it too. So let just say that title in Guild Wars 2 will deem one as a “BEAST.” That title take some serious dedication. As for me that immense amount of time is impossible to acquire. For the past months I’ve been spending some weekends gaining some more points for HoM, so far I’m not satisfy with the result at all. “School + Work + Gaming = I need to be a super human.” Let just say that for a person to get to level 80 in Guild Wars 2, perhaps a week of free time will get he or she there. The last 3 days beta, I got about 16 hours of sleep in 3 days but I only got to level 30.. so anyone who wants to be the first 80 in game, you’re gonna need some serious mental preparation and loaded with free time. Also don’t over do it to the point where you might end up in a hospital..

Since the last announcement of the upcoming BWE #2 for the most anticipated game of the year, Guild Wars 2. As a fan, I made sure that I got a reserved spot on April 10, when game pre-purchase went live. Of course, I am guaranteed to participate in any upcoming beta events and many more exclusive bonuses. However, on Guild Wars 2 Facebook page for the past week there have been posts about giving away beta keys. All these websites that say they are having a giveaway, my only concern is that is it really legit ? I’m sure that many people are entering to get the keys for either themselves or their friends. Note that I am not against this at all. I just thought that some of these websites that say they are giving away 500 keys….hmmm….could ANet really gave them that many keys to just give away? We’ll find out when the BWE begins, I am expecting that there won’t be anymore lag. But since there are SO many giveaway keys out there. I guess lag is gonna linger around a bit more…

Its been a while since the last Beta Weekend Event from AreaNet. It was reveal that the second BWE is the 8th of June. I honestly can’t wait for it. My boss let me take a day off and the weekend is gonna be a blast! The picture above is my character, Amaryllisa Haefilia on Jaded Quarry. To top it off, I hope the level 35 events will be something more exclusive than the regular world event…
